CAPE TOWN - Former Warriors striker, Wilfred Mugeyi - famous for his miss when Zimbabwe lost 2-1 to Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations in Tunisia 2004 - has signed a contract with Mvela Golden League side Western Province United.
Mugeyi (37) is among the several players whose registration p

apers have been lodged with the league. The aggressive striker was quoted in the South African media, insisting he was looking at playing two more years at the top level.
He is the only Zimbabwean player who was active on the South African Premiership transfer market last week. The league said he would be joining Western Province United, from his last club, PSL outfit Free State Stars.
The Silver Fox also revealed his desire to reach a personal target of 150 goals before he retires. Mugeyi has scored 127 goals for South African clubs since arriving at the defunct Bush Bucks in 1993. – Sports Reporter
