The most affected areas include Sidubi, Mpindo, Sawudweni, Tshino, Mcetshwa, and Caphuka villages.

The councillor of ward 3, Aaron Nyoni, said his area was faced with a big water challenge.

“I am in charge of seven villages and most of them are affected by serious water shortages. I am appealing to well wishers to help us with boreholes. At some of the

villages you find people using one or two boreholes,” said Nyoni.

The Minister of Water, Siphepha Nkomo, said he could not comment on the issue

as he was not the one responsible for the districts. The area falls under Zanu (PF)s Jonathan Moyo.
