"We are finalizing everything. This weekend we are aiming to complete training sessions with our selected finalists," said Pageant Director, Thamsanqa Ncube.
The theme of this year's pageant will be "Proudly Zimbabwean; Truly African"; and will go a long way towards positioning the thousands of young Zimbabweans in South Africa, not only as beautiful and talented, but also capable leaders in their own right.
In its inauguration, the Beauty Pageant was staged in Hillbrow and it runs successfully in the UK, Canada and the USA. Among the rules of the pageant, contestants must be over the age of 18 and possess Zimbabwean identification documents. Tickets are available at CompuTickets and on the door.
