The 50-member group’s original Urban African song genre resonates with gospel music lovers. After attending Bulawayo’s Founders High School for his academic education, Risinamhodzi enrolled at the Bulawayo Academy of Music, which set him up for his other role as a Praise and Worship Leader at the Lighthouse Chapel International.

“During my stay with the TGC, I had the privilege to share the stage with local greats like Lundi Tyamara, Thembinkosi Booi, Sipho Makhabane and the now late Vuyo Mokoena.”

Risinamhodzi showed early signs of his talent when he made it to the Top 5 of the CBZ A Academy, Zimbabwe’s version of Idols, where he competed with Sindisiwe Thembe Hlazo, Joseph Lugube, Tinashe Chitsaka and Mkhululi Bhebhe, who is now a member of the award-winning Joyous Celebration.
