Court Arrests

Police have arrested Pride Mkono Makomborero Haruzivishe and Dube Mehluli at the Harare Magistrates Court today. The three were waving placards urging the state to release Promise Mkwananzi and others.

The trio have been taken to Harare Central. Meanwhile the atmosphere here remains tense with police keen to provoke unrest. Part of the messages on the placards read: STOP POLICE BRUTALITY. Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights is attending to the case
