France gives 2million euro for food

HARARE - The French government has released food aid amounting to 2 millions euros to provide immediate support to the most vulnerable people of Zimbabwe as well as to support medium- and long-term policies aimed at promoting food security.

The aid package will be donated through the World Food Programme (WPF), the International Federation of the  Red Cross (IFRC) and the French ONG Action contre la faim (ACF).

This new contribution comes on top of French aid to Zimbabwe through various bilateral, international and European programmes.
