Speaking to The Zimbabwean this week MDC- M youth Secretary General, Diliza Mangoye said there was need to put party divisions aside and unite Zimbabwean youth if Zimbabwe was to prosper.
I want us as youth to put aside our party interests and come together to achieve the same goal that will help develop our country, and help solve political and economic problems being faced by our beloved nation.
We must bear in mind that we are all Zimbabweans, whether from Zanu, Zapu, MDC-M, MDC-T, MDC99 and MFP. If we work as a team everything is possible and our nation will return to its position of being the bread basket of Africa.
We have a lot of minerals in our country and our tourism industry can be one of the best in the world.
Youth must avoid being exploited and manipulated by these ageing leaders who are enriching themselves and their families, added Mangoye.
The MDC-M youth chairman, Andrew Ncube challenged the Zimbabwe youth to work hard and participate in all activities of the country.
There are a lot of community activities for the youth in South Africa, but you dont even see them participating.
I am very much disappointed because we have a lot of our youth who move around denouncing other youth who are active. The unity spirit must be a legacy among the youth.
MDC-M has initiated a programme where it has been engaging youth living outside Zimbabwe on the constitutional making process. In the past months it has also been campaigning for amnesty for Zimbabweans with dual citizenship in South Africa.
