The Glamour Boys, who lost the PSL championship to Monomotapa, after
succumbing to the pressure that came with playing in the MTN Caf
Champions League and aiming to defend their title last season, will be
out to prove they are still a force to reckon with.
DeMbare had a rude awakening of the top-flight football when they fell
to the reigning league champions in the first round of last year's
season and suffering defeats from city rivals, Caps United.
But Dynamos' legion of fans will be hoping their team is back on its
feet to reclaim the championship so as to win their own off-the-field
battle against their rival Caps United enthusiasts, in the terraces.
Last year we failed to manage the two competitions, we did well in the
champions league but lost focus of the league, said a Dynamos fan,
Tawanda Muchena.
We have nothing in our way this year; the league title is certainly
ours. While Monos will be focused with the Champions League isu tinenge
tichifamba nebhora, we will be causing havoc, he added.
