Silver Direct Lion for TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris for The Zimbabwean

CANNES: At the first of the 56th annual Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival award ceremonies on Monday, 22 June 2009, in Cannes, France, TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris Johannesburg scooped South Africa's only Lion of the evening, a Silver Direct Lion for its Trillion Dollar Campaign for The Zimbabwean.


The first of the four awards ceremonies honoured Promo, Direct Lions and the inaugural PR categories. SA had five entries shortlisted for Direct and two for Promo.
