Words of hope for MDC in Zimuto

MDC national vice organising secretary Morgan Komichi has called on party supporters in Zimuto to remain resolute in the struggle for a new Zimbabwe, reassuring them that the journey towards achieving total victory is nearing completion.

Komichi made the remarks during a rally at Zimuto Siding business centre on Sunday.
We all know that we were persecuted by Zanu (PF) in the past few years but the signs on the ground clearly indicate that we are now in control of the political affairs of the country, he said.
You should be the custodians of the GPA in the rural areas. The good thing is that Mugabe signed the GPA and as such there should be no violence. There should be employment, education and better health for the people of Zimbabwe, said Komichi.
At the same rally, the member of the house of assembly for Masvingo Central, Jefferson Chitando, said Zanu (PF) had created enemies among different social groups and classes by adopting a radical and militant stance against suspected opponents, local politicians have said.
Zanu (PF) has persecuted churches, students and other sections of society that desire democratic governance. I, however, urge you to remain united for the sake of nation-building, he said.
