Chiweshe has been one of the Premier Soccer Leagues outstanding coaches, winning 12 consecutive matches since his arrival at Dynamos last April.
But a recent rough patch in which Dynamos have struggled in lifeless stalemates against army side Black Rhinos and new boys Eagles in their last two matches as well as suffering a 1-2 loss at the hands of arch-rivals CAPS United in the Nestle Charity Shield final, appears to have put Chuchu out of favour with the ever impatient Dynamos supporters.
God created that draw and Eagles is a giant-killing team that we could not under-estimate, he said. This is the pressure that comes with coaching a team like Dynamos, people need to understand that Im human and I get lost at times. I dont believe in using anything outside prayers and just implementing what we do at training during matches.
A coach from struggling sides such as Underhill, Bantu Rovers or Black Rhinos would have been hailed and applauded for delivering the same results, but this is Dynamos, a team that has represented the country in the African Champions League with distinction and only last year was rated fourth best club side on the continent.
Dynamos supporters feel it is their teams divine right to lift every football trophy in the country ahead of the other 15 teams in the PSL.
Former coach David Yogi Mandigora had his good moments with the supporters after taking DeMbare into the semi-finals of the African safari.
But a bad spell during the first matches at the beginning of this season saw Yogi quickly fall from hero to villain and he lost his job to Chiweshe.
Chuchu hopes his teams supporters will appreciate the hard work he is doing at the Glamour Boys and he reminded them that it is difficult to rule out other teams in the fight for the championship title.
We have an advantage and stand a chance in regaining the top spot with our games in hand, but these are only eggs in the basket not chicken, a humble Chuchu said.

HARARE -- Dynamos supporters need to start appreciating the work done by coaches or they will end up losing coaches as no one wants to work under pressure without anyone acknowledging their efforts, Glamour Boys head coach Elvis Chuchu Chiweshe told The Zimbabwean on Sunday, last week.
