Ncube told The Zimbabwean that the inclusive government was disappointed by the development.
“We are yet to receive any of the funds that they promised us, he said.
He said the pledges had raised hope within government but nothing had been forwarded to date.
Following the formation of the unity government in February, neighbouring countries pledged US$8.3 billion to assist in the countrys reconstruction.
The funds were intended to be use for the implementation of the Short Term Emergency Recovery Programme (STERP).
Ncube said the delays in advancing the funds were scuttling economic revival efforts as liquidity challenges continued to hamper progress.
We are concerned on the bureaucratic delays and we are disappointed and clearly this is unsatisfactory. We hope that this will be expedited so that we can have access to the money to use in manufacturing sector which is critical,” said Ncube.
Zimbabwe requires an estimated US$10 billion to resuscitate the economy and restore basic services such as health and education, among others.
To date, the country has received close to US$2 billion in credit lines from African financial institutions and several other countries.
