According to the law, visitors are regulated to pay for a visa each time they enter Zimbabwe from another country.
The norm is that tourists should pay visa fees each time they enter into the country. It does not matter even if they would have left the country for single day upon their return they should pay, said Albert Mabika, the Acting regional immigration officer for Matabeleland North province. If visitors go to Zambia or Botswana for day trips, they are subject to re- examination as new visitors to the country.
He said the loophole had been identified and necessary measures adopted.
British nationals pay US$55 for single entry visa and US$70 for double entry. Americans and other nationals in one group are expected to pay US$30 for single entry and US$45 for double entry visa.
