PRETORIA. South African police are investigating a case in which a Zimbabwean man in his early thirties, Robert Sithole was found hanging from the roof of his room, believed to be a suicide case in Mamelodi, Pretoria.Mamelodi police spokesperson, Constable Marble Sibanda told The Zimbabwean that investigations are underway but there are no leads suggesting foul play, at the moment.
On the 28th of December Sitholes lifeless body was found strangled with shoelaces.
His friend, Joseph Takadiyi told The Zimbabwean that Sithole had had a serious accident earlier and they believe that the trauma is the reason he decided to take his life.
Constable Sibanda urged the community, despite being foreign, to come forward and open up problems to society and police for assistance.
Taking your life is not a solution, it does not benefit anyone. The country has social workers, the police and many other people who care to listen she said.
