HARARE - It was the curvaceous derriere that launched modern-day diva, Sandra Ndebele. But as she cavorted on stage in an unforgiving bead-studded mini skirt, she wasnt singing, she was lip syncing.
Despite this, her outfit wowed the crowd. Her skirt, beads and foot wear complimented her energetic routines and left the audience begging for more.
That outfit made my year, said one fan as Ndebele gyrated to her hit song, Guvu Rangu.
The 29-year-old singer was performing at Extra Mile Leisure Sport just outside Harare along the Masvingo highway to celebrate the start of 2010. It was her first stage act after her one-year maternity leave from music.
Despite miserable weather, thousands of revellers braved the cold and rain to watch Sandra sing and dance.
