Lengthens are expected to leave for Tanzania tomorrow (Wednesday). Lengthens assistant coach Paul “Popo” Chimalizeni admitted that it was now a tall order for them to overturn the deficit.
“It’s now a tall order. We complicated matters for ourselves in the first leg at home. We conceded silly goals at home but in football anything can happen. We are going there with the aim of managing those four goals. We have told the players to score as many goals as they can. I still believe we can shock them in their own backyard,” said Chimalizeni. Strikers Mohammed Banka, Mucha Mugosi and substitute Mohammed Khunzo scored a goal each in the first leg in Harare But Lengthens will welcome back defence stalwart Dumiso Khanye who missed the first leg as he was serving a one match suspension.
