The training was described as a handy weapon in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Members from both sexes are taught how to behave responsibly and respectively as married couples. They are among other things, taught how to respect each other as marriage partners and live faithful lives. Training normally runs for more than a month, revealed a senior church member.

The member also indicated that, participants to the training were circumcised to minimize chances of contracting sexually transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS. Circumcision is regarded hygienic by the church. Every member of the church is expected to undergo the training popularly known as Chinamwari. Training is done during school holidays when most young people are available. The government is currently campaigning for voluntary circumcision of male members of society, to minimize chances of spreading HIV/AIDS. Medical research suggests circumcision reduces chances of contracting HIV/AIDS by 60 per cent.
