The triangular series which begins on May 28 includes the hosts, India and Sri Lanka.

India will also play Zimbabwe in two Twenty20 matches after the triangular series.

All the teams will be out to make up for the poor showing they put up at the just ended World T20 championship held in Jamaica and won by England.

Zimbabwe was eliminated at the group stages in Jamaica whilst the other two teams made it to the Super Eight stage of the competition.

National team selectors last week named a 15 man squad that included five extra players that would be involved in the teams preparations.

The team announced by the convener of selectors and former Zimbabwe captain, Alistair Campbell retained the bulk of the players that have been doing duty for the country in the last 24 months.

Extra players in training squad

Shingirai Masakdza, Foster Mutizwa, Tendai Chitara, Timycen Maruma, Keith Dabengwa.
