Xenophobia game plan exposed

xenophobic_attacksJOHANNESBURG A South African resident has admitted to having a game plan for xenophobic attacks following the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Speaking to The Zimbabwean*** this week on condition of anonymity, a South African national divulged the information on how he and his friends were planning to adopt a guerrilla warfare stance so as to avoid clashes with police.

We will be moving around at night petrol bombing everything belonging to foreign nationals. We have a list of their names and we know where they are residing so it wont be difficult for us to triumphantly execute our plans.

It has also been alleged that ANC youths are behind the malicious plans to attack the foreigners.

However, South African Deputy Minister of Police, Fikile Mbalula, has assured residents that anyone caught trying to influence xenophobic attacks will face the full wrath of the law.

Our nation is not a banana republic, and residents wont be allowed to get away with xenophobic attacks on foreigners. We have confidence in both the police and our people; my ministry is unimpressed by the continued engraving of fear in the hearts and minds of our people including our fellow African brothers and sisters by faceless people in our midst.

ANC national spokesperson, Jackson Mthembu, was not available for comment.
