Andy Brown bounces back

HARARE - Forgotten musician Andy Brown has returned to the music scene following the release of his 10-track album titled Chiwoko (Corruption). Brown's music suffered a huge dent after he started singing praises to the unpopular Zanu (PF) policies and attending its functions. Now it seems Brown has realized his mistake and has come up with an album that, if given enough support, will put the musician back on track.

The album, which among other issues addresses corruption, is being marketed by Metro Studios.

“It seems corruption has become a cancer. I saw it fit as a musician to play my part to castigate corruption as it has decayed our ethics, customs and culture as a sovereign nation,” he said.

The musician says he had always been into music, as a result he believes in the power of musical messages, hence his decision to focus on socially constructive music.

“I believe in the power of music to spread any gospel that is why I sing social constructive music so that people can dance, sing along and gain a powerful message, which can change their lives for the good, he said.
