PRETORIA - More than 500 protestors from different countries including Egypt and Zimbabwe gathered outside the Egyptian Embassy in Pretoria on Friday, calling for the immediate removal of Presidents Robert Mugabe and Hosni Mubarak, who have both ruled their respective countries for some three decades. Mugabe and Mubarak both crush any demonstration of people who are trying to deliver democracy by chanting and marching.
“Both Mugabe and Mubarak’s stranglehold on power is corrupt and brutal. People will not be fooled we want democracy. Mugabe and Mubarak out, said the demonstrators.
If we stood together to free ourselves from oppression and corruption in South Africa, then we must help to free people of Zimbabwe, Egypt and other oppressed countries, said members of COSATU, who joined the demonstration.
