Organisers said this would be a “One Happiness Show” for the youth of Zimbabwe.
The event will be held on February 26, in the Harare Gardens, a venue that has become very popular among the young generation.
The concert is being organised and sponsored by Coca Cola Central Africa (Private) Limited, a subsidiary of Delta Corporation Limited (Delta) listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE). Last year Delta brought in several South African-based “kwaito” musicians and film stars from the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC)’s Generations TV programme to Zimbabwe.
The urban groovers who will sing and dance at the event include: Stunner, Winky D, the reggae star, Alexio Kawara of the “Shina fame”, Cindy, ExQ, King Shaddy, Xtra Large, Junior Banton, Madiz and High Definition.
The MCs for the top event are Chita and Junior Brown, while the DJs will be D-Nosh as well as Lee Roy and Maxy from Harare.
