The premiership new boys unveiled a galaxy of their new acquisitions at a glittering ceremony attended by a whos who in Zimbabwean football last week.
FC Platinum were the biggest spenders on the transfer market ahead of the new season. They beat traditional giants Dynamos, CAPS United and Highlanders to the signature of one of the most after sought players.
Information obtained by The Zimbabwean shows that Ngodzo was bought for a whopping US$65 000-00 to become the most expensive player in the domestic premiership.
His transfer fee eclipses the previous transfer record held by CAPS United, who splashed US$40 000 for the signature of midfielder Stephen Alimenda mid-season last year.
Apart from Ngodzo, FC Platinum also signed reigning Soccer Star of the Year Charles Sibanda and Bhekimpilo Ncube from Motor Action and last seasons top marksman Norman Maroto who joined from Gunners.
Tough tackling defender Daniel Veremu, and the former Gunners duo of Tafadzwa Dube and Norman Chikozho Togara are also on FC Platinum books.
Simon Njeleza from Hwange and Ngodzos elder brother Zephaniah and the towering Francis Kanda could also not resist the temptation of joining the cash-rich outfit.
