MARONDERA - Marondera Municipality has plans to evaluate the performance of its top officials annually in a bid to improve service delivery, Town Mayor, Farai NyandoroNyandoro said it was clearly stipulated in the terms of contracts signed by the Town Clerk and Heads of Departments that their performance and suitability to their positions would be assessed every year.
We have just discovered that the terms of contracts for top management such as The Town Clerk and Heads of Departments, demanded that they be subject to yearly performance evaluation. Those found wanting would either shape-up or ship-out. This week, my office will commission a special task team to start evaluating the targeted top management immediately, said Nyandoro.
