Mafukidze celebrates “place of favour”

Talented gospel musician Prince Mafukidze is back with a polished new album, “It's My Season”.

Mafukidze, affectionately known as The Real Prince Mwana Wamambo, says the good thing about the new album is that it gives one plenty to meditate on.

"The last couple of years have been a challenge for everyone globally, but by the grace of God we made it and I believe we have now entered the season of open doors, the season of favour. My prayer is that, as you listen to this album, you will allow the presence of God to usher you to the place of favour and open doors that no man can shut," said Mafukidze.

The new release that is currently receiving considerable play on radio stations Swedera Mudhuze is a favourite track on the album. The song is danceable and has a fast tempo that is a fusion of rhumba and museve beats.

Done in both shone and isiNdebele, the track is definitely Mafukidze’s trump card.

There are also a number of sing-along praise songs on the album. Everywhere I Go features other prominent singers including Simbisai Chinjekure, Violet Samkange, Nigel Bwanya and Rumbi Mazaranhanga.

Mafukidze is a Senior Pastor of the House of Praise Ministries International.
