Speaking on the sidelines of a polished act in Marondera last weekend, Dhewa, as Moyo is fondly known in the sungura music circles said he was feeling much better and he was looking forward to give what his fans expect of him.
Dhewa also said the departure of Guy Sixpence, one of his longest serving band members, would also not deter him from delivering the goods.
“I was born to entertain and that is what I will always do. Right now I am embarking on a national tour and I looking forward to meeting and entertaining my fans and showing them that the group is doing well,” he said.
“The departure of Guyson Sixpence will not in any way stall my musical progress. His departure did not come as a surprise to me since he was in the habit of hopping from one band to another,” he added.
Drummer Musa Wope also crossed the floor and joined Sulumani Chimbetu.
“People should come in their numbers during our shows where we are dishing out not just our usual stuff but also new songs from the forthcoming album. Though the album does not have a title yet, we are expecting to release it at the end of the year," said the Samanyemba hit-maker.
