The two teams clashed in a mid week fixture at Rufaro on Wednesday but could not be separated after 90 minutes of regulation time following a 0-0 stalemate.
Highlanders dominated the match but the draw saw them missing out on a chance to go third in the Premier League.
Despite the setback, coach Mkhuphali Masuku insists they are “where we want to be” midway through the season – six points behind leaders FC Platinum. He vowed to beat Kiglon at home this afternoon “We are in a comfortable position,” he said. “This is where we want to be at this stage of the campaign, there is still a lot of football to be played and a win against Kiglon will lift us up further.”
His Kiglon counterpart Pearson Matipedza said they were rebuilding a new team after losing a number of key players but promised Highlanders a good run for their money.
"We are going out there with one thing in mind – winning. We are almost starting afresh with a new team. We lost a good number of players in the last few months and the new players we have brought in have not had much time to train with us but we are aiming for maximum points," said Matipedza.
Meanwhile, CAPS United will lock horns against Gunners in another match at Rufaro.
