Dongo, who rose to fame with his hit single Ndozviita Sei (What shall I do?), went on to release a follow up chart buster album – Ruvarashe (Flower for my heart) last year. The album featured the classic track Nerunako (Beautiful) and is still doing well on the market.
The singer, songwriter and vocal trainer was upbeat that he would exceed the expectations of his fans.
“Everything that I do is just the beginning and I am promising much bigger things. My latest album will be much better. The previous one was just a tip of an ice burg. The upcoming will be way better.”
The album, which is titled Inc, will carry 10 tracks and already has a single – Takonana (We clashed) – that was initially released on the Zim Stars compilation album.
“I titled the album Inc because I am always writing songs. The album will carry 10 tracks. So far I have released Takonana, a single which was initially released on the Zim Stars compilation album. I think I will be done (recording) by end of this month (July). As for the release date I can not say much on that since my producer has the final say. But I think we are going to hold to it a bit since my previous album is still doing well on the market,” he said.
The Ndozviita Sei hitmaker went on to reveal that he is planning to shoot a DVD album this year.
