
“We have a lot of people who committed crimes against humanity and I want to see justice done, not through an international court but our own African court. Our people are suffering every day because of dictators who keep oppressing and suppressing them,” said Verryn.
The Bishop also condemned the continued abuse of Zimbabweans by Home Affairs officials and Police Officers who have been taking advantage of their desperate situation.
“I am very disappointed with the way Home Affairs officials operate at the expense of desperate Zimbabweans. How can you demand a bribe from someone trying to make a living? We have a lot of Zimbabweans paying money to have their Asylum status approved or stamped,” he said.
