The 12 track album features regionally and internationally celebrated musicians drawn from across genre barriers: afro-fusion singer Willis Wataffi, urban grooves pioneer David Chifunyise, poet Black Pearl, DRC’s Dadou Mansanga, Brazilian rising hip hop star Kapella T Silva and versatile artist Bruno Migliari.

Q Montana, who plays the bass, acoustic guitar and piano, joined forces with Bruno Migliari who assisted with co-lead vocals, electric basses, electric guitar, clavinet and pandeiro on one of the songs.

“This is one of my best albums so far. I wanted to give it an international feel. I featured international artistes to get the international feel,” said the multi-talented artist.

Strings Attached is set to win the talented native musician global fame through its “rich instrumentation and mellow vocals”.

The album hit the streets last Monday and carries songs such as Haana Mari, Pfotyo, Karinga, Nguwe, Ndadzidza, Huya Zvako/ Você é Minha, Mungamushore, Harsh, Suka, Handizvinwisise, My Cloud and Prodigal Daughter.

Q Montana spent four months on his masterpiece and said the project was a social commentary.
