Kutyauripo to bounce back

Nomadic former Warriors and Dynamos defender, David Kutyauripo, says he will bounce back and don the national team colours again soon.

Speaking to The Zimbabwean after Warriors’ victory against Liberia, Kutyauripo lamented his injuries which have resulted in him being sidelined by national team selectors.

“I am very disappointed with these injuries which are crippling my career. I am always on and off the field which forces national team selectors to over look me even if they know that I am the best on the field. But I would like to assure my fans that very soon I will bounce back as I have recovered from these malevolent injuries,” he said.

The last time Kutyauripo played for the Warriors was in the Chan Tournament in Ivory Coast against Libya in 2009. He made his debut appearance for Warriors way back in 2004 in the COSAFA Castle Cup match against Namibia and now he aims to return.

Previously, Kutyauripo featured for clubs like Caps United, Shooting Stars, Circle Cement Air Zimbabwe, Hackney, Njube Sundowns, Skumbini of Albania and Apop Kinryas Pegia of Cyprus.
