Edwin was attacked at corner St Peters Mashawasha, ward 4. Together with other two MDCYA activists were accused of sticking MDC 12th Anniversary posters in Mbare. He sustained injuries in his face.
Chipangano is a well known terror group composed of toxic characters in ZANU Pf, including Jimmy Kunaka. Its mandate is to cause harm to the ordinary citizens and to distabilise the economy. Recently at Machipisa shopping centre they attacked our members with some of them in police uniforms, its shocking.
MDC is a non violent people’s organisation, but this does not mean we are defenceless. We are a peace loving entity which thrives to usher in a responsible government of the people, for the people by the people. Thriving to build a nation full of jobs, investment, food, good health provisions, quality and affordable education, genuine empowerment, positive youth participation, respect of the rule of law, good governance, peace and freedom.
We want to urge Chipangano and other terror groups that the time has gone, we are responsible children. We are going to defend our party, our parents, our communities, our nation and our economy in our life time. Lets be peaceful in our undertakings.
