The Bulawayo-based jazz sensation says the album will appeal to audiences around the world, unlike previous productions that have catered mainly for the Zimbabwean market.
“I have worked with one of the best engineers in the industry, Papi, who has previously worked with such stars as Bongo Muffin, Hugh Masekela and Simphiwe Dana among others,” the soft-spoken Kozekulunge frontman said last week.
To cater for international audiences, Marabini has done songs in English, Ndebele, Shona and Swahili, the most-spoken indigenous language in Africa.

Marabini, a three-time National Arts and Merit Award award-winner is rated among the best Afro-jazz musicians in the country.
The 40-year-old musician’s career has grown in leaps and bounds since the 1990s when he performed which traditional music groups such as Sunduza Boys and Black Umfolosi with whom he toured Europe and Asia.
Marabini will perform alongside Oliver Mtukudzi and urban grooves artist Winky D at an eagearly-awaited show at the Large City Hall in Bulawayo on Friday.
