Dangerous love triangles at first appear to be at the heart of the matter, but as the main character’s astute investigation develops, he realises that he is working within a society that’s rotten to the core, beleaguered by robbery, rape, police corruption, sexual abuse, ritual killings, homelessness and the exploitation of the weak and vulnerable.
Chinyamakobvu was born in Zimbabwe and was involved in the war – the Second Chimurenga – that culminated in Zimbabwe’s independence. He holds degrees
in Agronomic Engineering, Agronomy, and Environment Management in Cuba, Australia and the USA respectively. Thou shall not be caught! is his first fiction novel, following the publication of non-fiction The Intricate Mediators of the Land Reform in Zimbabwe.
