The pair put on a two hour show, much to the delight of a cosmopolitan audience.
Chimbetu, popularly known as Sulu, belted out hits from his latest album Non-Stop and his voice was almost drowned out by Dendera music fans who sang along to hits like Chinyarara; Murume and the title track.
Madhiz turned things up a notch when he climbed onstage. The artist, who hails from the city’s suburb of Mkoba, connected with his local fans and turned the show into one of the year’s most exciting gigs.
“Fans should expect more this festive season. This is just the beginning,” said Madhiz.
