Magara left after a decision by parents to stop using the office as his residence and move into the school’s cottage. He refused to take up the proposed accommodation because it had no electricity.
A meeting with councillor Monarch Rukweza resolved to direct the ministry to carry out an audit after suspecting the headmaster, who had been with the school since 2007, of stealing the funds.
Rukweza commended the swift reaction, saying it protected the institution from total collapse.
