
According to highly placed sources within MDC-N, the leadership prefers to ignore the matter as the disgruntled members aired genuine concerns.
“SA members presented genuine facts which were ignored even by Welshman himself. That congress was not conducted constitutionally,” said a senior party official, who declined to be identified.
Another source said the newly elected province would soon decide on taking action against disgruntled members.

Last month a group of party members in Soweto pelted Ncube with t-shirts, threw chairs and over turned tables at ameeting convened to elect local leaders.
Diliza Mangoye, International Relations Youth Secretary, Women’s League member SiphoMoyo, and Interim Organising Secretary Gad MafikizoloLunga led a group that accused Ncube and the national leadership of favouritism.
