Her shows earlier this year were sold out. Born in 1987 in South Africa, Zahara started to sing in her school’s choir at the age of six and at age nine she was told to join the senior choir because of her strong voice.
Her debut album Loliwe in 2011 went Platinum in 13 days and double platinum after just 17 days, selling over 100,000 copies in South Africa. At the 2012 South African Music Awards, she won eight awards, including best female artist and album of the year.
