“The album is almost complete – it’s my seventh and is dedicated to my wife Jean. It features Kenyan songbird Asalii, Tuku, Alexio Kawara, Prudence Katomeni and Hope Masike,” said Mono.
The album seeks to expose the African way of life in tracks such Muroora, Vakaseka, Usazvishandure, Jean, Usacheme, Mambokadzi, For better for worse, Dai and Parasite. With his wife by his side, Mono has enjoyed a successful career and boasts of five solo albums and several collaborations with top musicians.
