The 35-minute DVD shows Zanu (PF) leader President Robert Mugabe, MDC President Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai and MDC leader Professor Welshman Ncube encouraging people not to fight.

“Ehe takambenge tichirovanaka zvibhakera but just now hakusi kunzwanana kwatinenge tichiita panyaya dzatinenge tichitaurirana. Hongu kungaite maareas antinodiffer (Yes we used to fight, but now we get along quite well on the issues we discuss. Yes there are instances where we may differ but it’s now a very friendly going).

“Ini ndinenge ndisingade kuti ndinzi chinja asi Tsvangirai achiti kwandiri aiwa vadhara chichinjai marimba muri kure kure kune chinyakare ndichiti aaah kwete pandakamira ndopandakamira .Ko izvozvo zvorwirwa (I do not want to be asked to changed, but Tsvangirai will be saying old man you need to change, you are sticking to your old ways .And l tell him No, I am standing my ground. Do we need to fight over that?),” Mugabe is quoted saying.

ZIMRIGHTS executive director Okay Machisa was confident that the DVD, to be shown in communities around the country, would bring positive change.

“We are reiterating on what the principals have said. We need to accept in our communities that we are different and we support different political parties and we need to be tolerant,” he said.
