“The first part of our plan of action is to assist those members who were affected by the violence that has characterised our country over the past few years,” said Chairman Victor Zunza.
Resources meant for a workshop in Gweru will now be used to finance the pioneer phase of building a house in each of the country’s 10 provinces. Beneficiaries were chosen by the MDCVAA provincial leadership based on the “most deserving of cases”. “The process will continue as we raise more resources so that as many as possible of the affected victims can benefit,” said Zunza.
