The 48–year-old “Idya Banana” hit maker said he is now ready to join any media institution. “I completed my Media Studies with the Zimbabwe Open University and will be graduating sometime soon. I had been living with this dream of becoming a media practitioner. I have a passion in writing, that’s why I decided to further my studies,” he said.
However, the musician said he was still into music and would not allow media engagements to distract him in any way. He released a new album last week titled Kuti Zvityise – his first since 2010. The primary school teacher rose to stardom in 2006 with the song Idya Banana which saw him nominated as winner in the now defunct ZIMA Awards.
