A taste of honey

EDITOR - Cryptosylia is an Australian orchid with a specialised method of propagation – it gives off a perfect imitation scent of the female species of a fly that acts as an aphrodisiac on the male. Once drawn to the orchid – the male fly finds a part of the orchid’s structure a perfect imitation of the female fly’s abdomen.

In his efforts to copulate with the orchid he gets himself nicely dusted with pollen. My concern is that there are some MDC flies getting a real buzz out of working with Mugabe.

They seem to come out really buzzing with Zanu (PF) pollen – buzzing off to the BBC and telling the world that sanctions should be lifted, Mugabe is a good man and the constitution is the only option the country has – and that the country is going to have free and fair elections – and we will all live happily for ever after? – Observer, Australia
