Politics must be put aside and the conference must allow constructive recommendations to what promises to be best constitution in the world. Zimbabweans must show maturity and good behaviour and desist from being used by politicians – because the whole world will be watching us.
I also think war veterans need education on the right protocol to follow if they have any grievances. They should not politicise the issue of their allowances, or allow themselves to be used by political actors or motivated by self-aggrandisement to go and disturb the Minister of Finance. We really appreciate their role in the struggle for independence but their behaviour is naïve and unpatriotic. They should stop reversing what inspired them to go to war. – Obvious Benhura, Chikomba
