The group, which consists of three lead vocalists namely Kondwani Thete, Ashton and Admire Muponda, rocked the stage with an afro jazz beat. They performed three songs with traditional lyrics including Dzoro, which speaks on the culture of herding cattle.
Their last song Vavhimi left the crowd calling for more. In an interview with The Zimbabwean, Kondwani Thete said the group wanted to establish its name.
“We are travelling this road with hope that we will achieve great things in the music Industry. We have to work hard to make our dream happen,” he said.
Other acts on the night included a performance from solo guitarist, Munyaradzi Nyamayedza and a Sungura group which took the audience down the memory lane with songs such as Leonard Dembo’s Sarura Wako.
However, popular poet, Sir Zvavanhu, was booed off stage. Rising stand-up comedian, Simbarashe Kakora, picked up the pieces and kept the crowd in stiches.
