He was Managing Director of African Sun between 2002 and 2011. He left African Sun in November 2011 to concentrate on private business. He is the past President of the Zimbabwe Council of Tourism.
He is also a past country director for Coca Cola Central Afrca (Zambia and Malawi). Tendai did his articles with Messrs PWC. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree from the University of Souh Africa and Masters of Business Administration degree from Hull University United Kingdom.
