The two, Dereck Moyo (30) of Bafana village under Headman Mukombo and Martin Gwarega (58) of Chishuku village, were found guilty by magistrate Sithembinkosi Msipa of stealing 59 cattle in the period since January.
The two will serve 66 years in jail each.
In passing sentence, the magistrate said stock theft was a serious offence. The magistrate also noted that cattle criminals deserved to be kept away from the community for a long period of time while victims recovered.
It is the first time that the local courts have witnessed such a lengthy sentence being passed for stock theft.
