The 23-year-old former Caps United star missed most of the Urban Warriors’ 15 games so far this season after a knee injury sustained in training about five months ago. He has seen bit-part action since then.
“That injury nearly ruined my otherwise good last season. I have fully recovered now and I believe it is high time I fought hard to get back my starting position in the team,” said Rusike. “I have played as a substitute so far because the other guys have been fit and playing better, but I know that with full fitness and more determination, I will prove that I am still the good player I was before the injury.”
