INDUSTRIALS
The industrial index closed higher for the 5th consecutive day after gaining 1.66 points (1.09%) to close at 153.95 points. PPC (PPC.zw) gained 9.01 cents to 210.01 cents, OLD MUTUAL (OML.zw) was up 7.01 cents to trade at 165.01 cents and ECONET (ECO.zw) added 5.02 cents to 460.02 cents. CAFCA (CAFCA.zw) was 2 cents firmer at 50 cents and DELTA (DLTA.zw) rose 1.85 cents to 102 cents. OK ZIMBABWE (OKZ.zw) advanced 0.80 cents to 15 cents, CBZ (CBZ.zw) and PADENGA (PHL.zw) inched up 0.20 cents to settle at 10.20 cents and 5 cents respectively.
The gains were offset by losses in LAFARGE (LACZ.zw) which tumbled 15 cents to 55 cents. PEARL (PEAR.zw) eased 0.50 cents to 2.30 cents, NICOZ DIAMOND (NICO.zw) lost 0.10 cents to close at 1.10 cents and INTERFRESH (INTF.zw) was down 0.05 cents to trade at 0.15 cents.
MININGS
The mining index slipped 1.22 points (1.81%) to close at 66.29 points. HWANGE (HCCL.zw) traded at 17 cents after dropping a cent. BINDURA (BIND.zw), FALGOLD (FALG.zw) and RIOZIM (RIOZ.zw) were unchanged at the previous trading levels.
