This development comes after Chipanga called on the media to look into the details of the 13-year-old’s death. The musician accused the country’s health system and law enforcement agents of failing to provide answers.
Murambi promised to assist Chipanga in his search for answers after the post-mortem report failed to determine a cause of death.
The outspoken musician said he suspected that the report was to cover up the shoddy job carried out by the previous doctor who attended to his son. “Our country’s hospitals do not have the required testing machines, so all these factors compromise the test results,” Murambi clarified.
However, Murambi said he would re-visit Delight’s post-mortem test and medical records. He assured the Chipanga family that there was an option to send the samples abroad for proper testing.
Delight passed away in July last year after succumbing to an unknown illness. He was ill for three days. He was first taken to a local clinic then Mutare Provincial Hospital before Chipanga engaged the services of a local faith healer as the child showed no signs of improvement.
